I was excited to buy a box kit so I didn't have to piece my install together, but was disappointed that it didn't fit my application. The cords for the raymarine 4/5 transducer won't fit through the holes in the nut they provide. You either have to cut the loop cord from the transducer to run it through or buy something else... I have called Jackson a few times, leaving a message and they never returned my call. Odd that their system doesn't support the fish finder they promote... I hope to hear from them soon.
Split decision on usefulness

I just installed my Raymarine Dragonfly-4 tonight on a new Big Rig and am feeling pretty mixed about the whole thing. First off, Raymarine changed the transducer a little and it doesn't seem to fit the same way last years did. Add to that the fact that Jackson doesn't include any sort of instructions and there is a lot of confusion with installation. I finally used some hot glue on the transducer to stick it to the hull and then used the bungee included here to keep it tight. Once I got the holes drilled and pushed the cable through (be careful as it is extremely tight and scraped some of the plastic off the cables), I was able to tighten everything down but it couldn't be tightened enough to make it waterproof. The cable is pretty small. Another dab of hot glue will probably fix that for me. Overall it was nice not to have to go find the parts separate, but I always expect a little more from Jackson. Great products, but not a lot of follow-through.
Good product but doesn't fit my application

It should be noted that the thru-hull plugs are not large enough to pass a Lowrance Transducer plug through.
